Patio Options: Pavers, Wood, Concrete, Oh My!

When looking to put in a patio, the first thing you need to do is figure out what type of patio you want. With so many choices, materials and configurations available, the type of patio you have is only limited by your imagination. The patio projects that we have undertaken have run the gamut from complex paver designs, to wood, to even stamped concrete. Your choice will be based on a combination of factors including, style preference, functionality and budget.

Concrete Patios:

Who doesn’t love a gorgeous looking concrete patio…With the many options available as far as the ability to dye the concrete a certain color, stamp a stone pattern into it, or use various brush style finishes, the sky really is the limit here. A bit more expensive than some other options, the huge advantage to concrete is its low maintenance, durability and longevity.

Wood Patios:

Classic and timeless. Less expensive than a concrete or paver patio, a finely crafted wood patio may be exactly what your home needs to give it a bit of a facelift. And because wood can be stained or even painted to complement your existing façade, this is usually a very popular choice. It’s important to keep in mind that there is going to be some maintenance with a wood patio.

Paver Patios:

Some of the designs we’ve done out of pavers have truly been incredible. Adding depth and dimension to an otherwise flat lawn, a paver patio can certainly elevate your outdoor space to that next level. As far as maintenance and durability, much as with concrete, these are minimal. But like concrete, paver patios can be on the more expensive side. The great thing though about a paver patio is that it can take on a variety of patterns, shapes and even colors!

Whatever your patio-inspired visions, we would love to work with you to create that beautiful outdoor oasis of rest and relaxation!
