Rail Styles: Who says you have to stick with plain old wood? Today there are so many great products available in the world of deck materials. And when it comes to the rails especially, you are really only limited by your imagination. From wrought iron, to some affordable and stylish aluminum options, to various plexiglass style options allowing for a more expansive and less restricted view, you’d be surprised at how drastic a difference rails can make.
Fire Pits: Built-in fire pits or fireplaces are certainly trending when it comes to decks. There’s nothing better than a cozy spot around which you can enjoy a blazing fire, roast marshmallows and just relax with the family. We’ve installed all sorts of fire pits, from classic brick, to specialized stones, to more elaborate and modern styles.
Benches & Seating: Of course it’s all about sitting and enjoying yourselves. Built-in benches and other forms of built-in seating are a great way to add a stylish accent to your deck. Use the same material or pick something that will contrast and thus allow your custom seating to pop.
Skirting: Often overlooked the skirting around the deck can also go beyond just the traditional. Many opt for some form of trellis style skirting. But we like to have a little fun with this particular deck element. Why not dress it up with stone, how about wood on the diagonal….Get creative!
